Moonshot CD (1972)
For her eighth release Buffy again recorded in Nashville working with producer/arranger/bassist Norbert Putnam and some of the same studio musicians who appeared on Young’s then-recently released country-rock LP Harvest. Moonshot takes a decidedly pop-oriented direction with more straightforward songwriting, less vibrato in her voice, and increased string arrangements.
Not the Lovin’ Kind / You Know How To Turn on Those Lights / I Wanna Hold Your Hand Forever / He’s an Indian Cowboy in The Rodeo / Lay It Down / Moonshot / Native North American Child / My Baby Left Me / Sweet Memories / Jeremiah / Mister Can’t You See
